Details regarding Zune, Microsoft’s alternative to the Apple Ipod was released last week.

Impressive Features such as Wireless for music sharing between other players, built in FM tuner make it a worthy competitor to the 30gb Ipod. The press release last week didn’t actually mention a price, this may have been related to the price drop of the Apple 30gb Ipod to $249. Either way, Microsoft haven’t given a figure but suggest that it will be cheaper or the same price as the Apple alternative.

The expected release date is for December 2006, although would this ever be as popular as any Ipod?
