I’ve recently signed up to Nokia’s Coast to Coast race in Scotland, the currently offer a few events in Septemeber 2010, primarily based upon crossing Scotland in a weekend.
The options are:
Expert: Time limit 13 hrs, Support vehicle required & own kayak, with extra kayak section (9miles extra, rather than a section of biking) £120
Racer: Time limit 13hrs (One I’ve signed up for) £120
Challenger: Time limit 11 + 14 hours, spread over 2 days, 25 hours total. £150
Coast to Cawdor 10km race: £15

The stage lengths are as follows (Racer):
- Run – 7 miles
- Road Cycle – 47 miles
- Mini Kayak & Run – 3 miles
- Off-Road & Road Cycle – 37 miles
- Run – 14 miles
- Kayak – 1 mile
Quite a challenge, although a while away so.. plenty of time for training!
